Install Axon and start using it
Connect the bot, open the server dashboard, and choose the modules you want.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Use a Discord account with Manage Server permission in the server you want to connect. Axon only shows servers that Discord says you can manage.
Keep the Axon role below your owner and senior staff roles. Move it above any roles the bot needs to assign or moderate.
Install and connect
Section titled “Install and connect”- Select Invite Bot on axon-bot.com and choose the Discord server.
- Review the requested permissions and complete Discord authorization.
- Select Sign In on axon-bot.com, choose the server, and select Continue setup. You can also run
/axon setupin Discord and select Open setup guide. - Choose a feature you need, such as welcome messages or moderation. Enable its module, open Settings, and choose the channels, roles, or rules it should use.
- Save a draft and publish the settings. Follow the module’s instructions to test it in Discord.
The Setup guide stays in your server navigation. A dashboard reminder points back to it while your checklist is incomplete. Core and Diagnostics cover access and health checks; they do not turn on welcome messages, tickets, or other server features.
About a week after installation, Axon checks how many modules are enabled. If there are only one or two, including Core and Diagnostics, it sends the current server owner one DM linking to the setup guide. Servers with more modules enabled are skipped. Blocked DMs are not retried, and removing and re-adding the bot does not reset the reminder.
Confirm the connection
Section titled “Confirm the connection”The server overview should show Connected and list the current Discord latency. Open Diagnostics to scan for missing permissions and role-order warnings, or run /axon diagnose if Diagnostics is enabled. /axon setup shows your next setup step and links to the guide; it does not enable modules or change server settings.
