The rules for using Axon.

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Axon regarding the Axon Discord application, axon-bot.com, its dashboard, APIs, and related services. By signing in, installing Axon, enabling a module, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not accept them, do not use Axon.

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement, have legal capacity to agree, and follow the law where you live. If you use Axon for a company, organization, or Discord server, you represent that you may bind that organization and administer the server for the actions you take.

Axon is an independent third-party application and is not Discord, endorsed by Discord, or responsible for Discord's service. Your Discord account and use of Discord remain subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Policy, and privacy notice. Discord outages, API changes, permission rules, rate limits, enforcement decisions, and account actions can affect Axon without advance notice.

Axon may rely on hosting, storage, monitoring, and security providers. Their services may have separate terms. Axon is responsible for choosing its providers and for the duties it cannot lawfully transfer, but it does not control third-party networks or Discord itself.

Axon uses Discord OAuth for dashboard accounts. You must keep your Discord account and devices secure, review active sessions, promptly revoke any session you do not recognize, and keep your account information current. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access and the activity resulted from Axon's own failure to apply reasonable security controls.

Do not share bot tokens, OAuth secrets, passwords, session cookies, backup keys, or other credentials with Axon support or place them in configuration fields. Axon may require current Discord authorization, CSRF validation, confirmation text, and an operator reason before sensitive actions.

Install or configure Axon only in a server you have permission to manage. You are responsible for selecting modules, assigning Discord and dashboard permissions, placing Axon's role in a safe hierarchy position, reviewing test results, and training staff who can take actions. Do not grant broader permissions than the server needs.

The server operator decides what member notice, consent, appeal process, retention period, and staff policy its community needs. You must provide those notices and obtain any consent required by law. You remain responsible for staff decisions made with Axon, including warnings, notes, timeouts, kicks, bans, role changes, message deletion, ticket handling, applications, and automated rules.

You may not use Axon to:

• break the law, Discord's rules, or another person's rights;
• harass, stalk, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger anyone;
• collect data from children below the applicable minimum age;
• store health, financial, government-identifier, biometric, or other unrelated sensitive data;
• profile people for employment, housing, insurance, credit, or similar eligibility decisions;
• send spam, malware, deceptive links, or unauthorized advertising;
• probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with access controls, rate limits, security, audit records, or service availability;
• reverse engineer or copy protected parts of Axon except where law expressly permits it;
• resell, sublicense, or provide Axon as a competing managed service without written permission; or
• submit content or instructions you do not have the right to use.

Security research must avoid member data, service disruption, credential access, and destructive testing. Report a suspected vulnerability privately through the support page before disclosing details publicly.

You keep the rights you already hold in settings, templates, messages, transcripts, application answers, moderation material, images, links, and other content submitted to Axon. You grant Axon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, format, display, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and operate Axon, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to backup cycles, shared server records, legal holds, and other retention described in the Privacy Notice.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed for the content and instructions you submit. Axon may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, creates a security risk, infringes rights, or exposes Axon or others to legal liability.

Axon records who requested supported moderation and configuration actions, checks permissions and role hierarchy, and may queue or retry Discord work. Those controls reduce mistakes but do not replace human judgment. Risk indicators, watchlists, AutoMod matches, violation counts, and similar signals are advisory unless a server operator has configured a specific action.

Review rules before publishing them and use a disposable test target for destructive drills. Server operators must provide a fair review or appeal route where law, policy, or their own rules require one. Axon does not make decisions that carry legal or similarly significant effects outside the Discord server context.

Axon is a service under active development. Features may contain defects, change, become unavailable, or require a migration. Axon may add, alter, pause, or remove a feature when needed for security, law, Discord compatibility, reliability, or product operation. When reasonably possible, Axon will give notice before a change that materially reduces a working feature.

No uptime, support-response, data-recovery, or feature-continuity service level applies unless Axon signs a separate written agreement. Keep independent copies of content you cannot afford to lose. Production backups and recovery checks reduce risk but do not make data loss impossible.

Paid plans apply to one Discord server and renew automatically for the monthly or annual interval selected at checkout until canceled. The checkout page shows the plan, price, interval, applicable taxes, and renewal date before an authorized purchase. Axon does not receive or store full card numbers.

The server owner controls the subscription through the dashboard and Stripe customer portal. Managers may view the server's plan and limits but cannot view billing details or change the subscription. Axon will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice before a price increase applies to a later renewal.

Each server may use one 14-day Premium trial without a payment card. The trial does not renew or create a charge. Custom Bot is excluded. Promotional or founding grants also end without a charge unless the server owner separately purchases a plan.

An active server with Axon installed on August 15, 2026 receives a six-month founding Premium grant starting that day. A server first installed by 11:59 PM Central Time on October 27, 2026 receives a six-month founding Premium grant starting at installation. The grant applies once per server, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and does not renew automatically.

A server owner may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and no later renewal will be charged. Removing Axon, deleting a dashboard account, or leaving a server does not itself cancel a subscription. If payment fails, Axon may allow a seven-day recovery period before paid access is restricted.

A server owner may request a refund within seven calendar days of the first paid charge or for a verified duplicate charge by contacting support@axon-bot.com. Renewals, plan changes, and partially used billing periods are otherwise nonrefundable except where law requires a refund. If Axon permanently ends a paid service before a prepaid period finishes, Axon will provide a proportional refund for the unused period unless a lawful suspension for abuse or breach applies.

Plan limits apply to countable resources and history, not to core security, privacy exports, backups, recovery, basic moderation, or basic audit behavior. Exact current use and the applicable limit are shown before Axon presents an upgrade option. Axon does not use ads, sell customer data, or create artificial service failures to promote a plan.

A downgrade does not delete configurations. The server owner has 30 days to choose which resources remain active under the lower limit. Excess resources remain stored and visible but cannot be expanded. If no choice is saved, Axon keeps the oldest active resources up to the new limit and pauses newer ones. Restoring a qualifying plan can reactivate stored resources.

An "unlimited" plan has no numerical Axon plan cap on the resources listed as unlimited. It does not override Discord's limits, rate limits, Axon's data-retention rules, or controls needed to prevent abuse and protect other customers. Axon does not add automatic overage charges. If unusual use threatens service operation, Axon may apply a temporary technical limit and contact the server owner before imposing a lasting restriction when circumstances permit.

Axon and its licensors own the service software, site, design, branding, documentation, and other materials they provide, excluding your content and third-party material. These Terms grant only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as provided. No source-code or trademark license is granted.

If you send a suggestion, you allow Axon to use it without restriction or payment. This does not transfer ownership of your existing work or permit Axon to publish confidential information you clearly identified as confidential before disclosure.

You may stop using Axon, revoke sessions, delete your dashboard account, or remove the bot from a server. Removing the bot stops new Gateway collection for that server but does not erase existing records automatically. The Privacy Notice explains account deletion, server-owned records, retention, backups, and whole-server requests.

Axon may limit or suspend access immediately when reasonably necessary to address a security incident, unlawful conduct, serious abuse, risk to Discord or other users, nonpayment under future paid terms, or a breach of these Terms. Axon may terminate an inactive preview account or discontinue the service with reasonable notice when practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes, and retained-data duties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axon is provided "as is" and "as available." Axon disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, and warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Axon does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete detection of harmful conduct, compatibility with every Discord change, or preservation of every record.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that the law does not allow the parties to waive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axon and its operator, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising from the service, even if advised that such loss was possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, their total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to Axon will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Axon in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 US dollars. This limit does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow the parties to limit.

To the extent permitted by law, if you use Axon for a business, organization, or Discord server, you will defend and indemnify Axon and its operator against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your server's configuration or staff actions, your violation of law or another person's rights, or your material breach of these Terms. Axon must promptly notify you of a covered claim, allow you to control the defense and settlement, and reasonably cooperate at your expense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault or imposes a non-monetary duty on Axon without written consent.

Before filing a formal claim, send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution to support@axon-bot.com. The parties will try in good faith for 30 days to resolve it. Either party may seek urgent court relief for a security threat, unauthorized access, or intellectual-property misuse without waiting.

Mandatory consumer protections and conflict-of-law rules in your location remain in effect. Otherwise, the law and courts with lawful jurisdiction over the Axon operator and the dispute will apply. Axon does not impose private arbitration or a class-action waiver in this version of the Terms. The final operator entity, service address, and chosen jurisdiction must be added before paid or general availability.

Axon may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or business changes. The page will show the effective date and version. Axon will give reasonable advance notice of a material change when practical. Continued use after the effective date accepts the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using Axon and remove it from your servers.

These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the service unless a signed agreement says otherwise. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, it will be enforced to the lawful extent and the rest will remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent. Axon may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the service. Headings exist only to make the document easier to read.

Axon currently operates under the Axon name. The final legal entity name, postal service address, governing jurisdiction, and reviewed notice process remain required before paid or general availability. Publishing this full agreement does not remove that release gate.
